According to media reports, MSI has recently launched a new 17-inch gaming laptop GS70, and called it as “the world’s thinnest” game notebook.
MSI GS70 body weight is 2.58 kg, the thickness is only 25.4mm. It has brushed aluminum alloy case, 17.3-inch 1920×1080 resolution anti-reflective display, fourth-generation Intel Core i7 processor, Nvidia GeForce GTX 765M graphics card, 16GB DDR3L memory, four USB 3.0 ports, three audio jacks, 720p HD webcam and SteelSeries full-color backlit keyboard.
MSI called the GS70 as “the world’s thinnest and lightest 17-inch portable gaming notebook,” which uses dual cooling fan design that can absorb heat from the top of the fuselage, and discharge at 45-degree elevation angle, to ensure the equipment won’t overheat when in games. It is reported that, GS70 price is $ 1,799.99.
Compared to the Razer Blade Pro which is also a flagship for thin and light features, this MSI product is lighter, with more memory and storage space. But the Blade Pro thickness is only 22.4mm, which is slightly better.
