Microsoft launches Windows Threshold in 2015

Microsoft reportedly plans to launch a series of changes in 2015 , which could see major reviews for Windows , Xbox and Windows platforms RT .

According to a report from Mary Jo Foley of ZDNet, Microsoft officials in planning a series of changes that will take place in 2015. Nicknamed " Threshold" , presented changes could cause major revisions of Windows , Windows RT and Xbox One .

The report stopped calling a convergence of the three Microsoft operating systems , but suggested that the development of threshold could include elements common to all three major platforms and shared services.

The company has not yet responded to a request for comment on the report - Microsoft rarely responds rumors and speculation.

An update for the desktop and Windows Mobile platforms seems to be already on the cards even Redmond looking for a new CEO. Last week , business leaders said Microsoft will solve the problem of maintaining multiple versions of its operating system for desktop and portable Tablet as it currently does with Windows , Windows Phone and Windows RT .

These observations , together with a renewed kick the Xbox as a portal home entertainment rather than strictly a game console accent , could support the idea that Microsoft intends to have a convergent approach to his office and mobile platforms in their attempt to approach to rebuild society after the departure of Steve Ballmer.
