For all those who have been wishing for smartphones and tablet-compatible pendrives will be glad to know that Sony has launched its new range of dual-USB pendrives, which can work with smartphones and tablets as well. These dual-USB storage drives come with full-size USB and microUSB connectors and support mobile devices running on Android.
This new drive can be used with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and upwards. For desktops, it works with both Windows and Mac operating systems. These drives have connectors placed on either sides, and are available in three colors which are white, black and blue.
The pendrives are available in 8GB, 16GB and 32GB capacities and are priced for $19.99 (approximately Rs 1,230), $29.99 (approximately Rs 1,846) and $62.99 (approximately Rs 3,877) respectively. There is no clue on when the drives will be launched in India, however the company says that the drives will be available in globally in January 2014.
